Ilość hospitalizacji w Anglii osiągnęła najwyższą ilość od pięciu miesięcy. Według ostatnich danych poziom hospitalizacji jest najwyższy od długiego czasu i warto podkreślić, że ta liczba ciągle rosła od początku trzeciej fali pandemii, która rozpoczęła się końcem maja.

System ochrony zdrowia zanotował 5,514 przypadków hospitalizacji pacjentów z Covidem na dzień 18 sierpnia. Jest to najwyższy poziom hospitalizacji, jaki zanotowano od 16 marca według danych, jakimi dysponuje NHS.

Ten wzrost łączy się ze zwiększeniem infekcji koronawirusem, jaki jest widoczny ostatnio w Anglii. Wielu ludzi chorujących na Covid potrzebuje także opieki szpitalnej. Ilość zakażeń budzi spore obawy i rozpatrywana jest dodatkowa dawka szczepionki dla osób, mających poważne problemy zdrowotne.
Południowo-wschodnia część kraju notuje największy wzrost hospitalizacji, który kształtuje się na poziomie 18%.
Wzrost przyjęć do szpitala stanowi problem w całej Anglii i są obawy, że sytuacja pogorszy się wraz z nadejściem jesieni.

Covid hospitalisations in England reach the highest numbers in five months. According to the latest figures the level of hospitalisations is the biggest for long time and it has to be pointed out that these numbers were slowly but surely rising since the start of the third pandemic wave, which began at the end of May.

Health system have recorded 5,514 patients in hospital with Covid-19 infection on 18 August.
This data reveals the highest number of hospitalisations since 16 March, according to the NHS sources.

This increase comes as new coronavirus cases started to rise again. Many people, who are infected also require hospital care. High case numbers are worrying and a booster vaccine is being considered for the most vulnerable people.
South-east region of England is recording the biggest rise of patients admissions at 18 per cent. Admissions to the hospitals are high everywhere in England and this fact is very worrying and with autumn fast approaching the problem can get much worse.
