11 września to wspomnienie ataków na WTC

11 wrzesnia - 440

Obrazek sprzed kilkunastu lat: Wszyscy w domu siedzimy przed ekranem telewizora i z niedowierzaniem oglądamy CNN. Tłumaczę na głos z języka angielskiego na polski.
Relacja na żywo z nowojorskiego Manhattanu, gdzie miał miejsce spektakularny, jakże tragiczny w skutkach atak terrorystyczny z użyciem samolotów pasażerskich.

W atakach na wieże World Trade Center zginęło blisko cztery tysiące osób.

---------------

I can picture myself with the other members of my family in my hometown years ago.
We were all watching CNN live and we couldn't believe what we could see on the screen.
I was trying to translate as much as I possibly could.
Tragic events from New York's Manhattan, where terrorists attacks using two aircraft have happened.
In these attacks at the World Trade Center towers nearly four thousand people lost their lives.
All their plans and dreams were immediately stopped by this brutal and unprecedented attack.
And of course a lot of conspiracy theories have come out; about that being "false flag" and a lot other weird approaches to this tragic day. I strongly believe that they are as real as fairy tales.
In the following years a lot of rescue teams members have died due to lung cancers and a lot of other toxic asbestos related illnesses.
We have to remember.
We should never forget.
It's important that we've always got history on our mind in our everyday life, only this way we will be able to change this world.
When we remember our lessons which history teaches us, then we can fight terrorism, hatred speech and exclusions.
We need to work hard to try to change this world.
Let's hope it's not too late just yet...
We can set an example for the other people.
We should start from ourselves by changing our attitude and little communities we live in.
It's worth stopping for a while today to remind ourselves what we are living for.
Think and pray for those who lost their lives in this unprecetended tragedy, hoping that such an horrific event will never ever take place anymore.
