Milton Keynes Museum is celebrating its 50th birthday this year. To mark this special occasion, the museum will open its doors on Saturday, July 15, with great things to do for families. And the main thing is - it's all for free!
Live music will be presented by Wolverton Town Band and shanty group Sloop Groggy Dogs. Cooking demonstrations in the cottage, medieval pottery making, mini golf, the egg and spoon race will fill up this great event and make it the one to remember.
Children will have a chance to enjoy bouncy castle fun, while adult guests will explore country market. Face painting, and a fancy dress competition will add another interesting attractions to the whole event and will make it more attractive as far as visitors are concerned.
Many museum's attractions will be available to view on a day, from the Street of Shops to the Hall of Transport and the Communication Gallery.

The Museum will be open from 10.30am- 4.30pm and entry is free.
